Career: United States Naval Academy (33 years, 1979 to 2011)

- Faculty advisor to women’s basketball and swimming teams
- 25 years as civilian faculty member on the Admissions Board
- Authored several special reports (later implemented) on improving conditions for women & increasing diversity at USNA
- Retired 2011 to take up a real job, being a grandmother full time so that I'm very close to all of my grandkids
Staying active:
- Have continued to play golf and have put away my tennis racket for a pickleball paddle, the perfect sport for old ladies like me
- Since our last reunion I have been in touch frequently with Dave (who has mentored my grandson Jack's love of trains) and Sandy in Minnesota, and continued close friendships with Kathy and Doug in New Hampshire and Barbara in Colorado
- I still deeply mourn the death of Joe Suriano, who was my best buddy at the Naval Academy and my steady golf partner for 30 years.
