list for DC area Morocco events". The winner and a guest will fly economy class on Royal Air Maroc Airlines from New York to either Casablanca or Marrakech to start this fabulous adventure. On this excursion, you'll enjoy seven days and six nights in different sites throughout Morocco. Value: $7796 The itinerary is as follows: Day 1: New York - Casablanca Arrive at the Casablanca Mohamed V airport, where you will be greeted and receive assistance, then transfer to Casablanca. Check in at the hotel. Enjoy an afternoon visit of Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco. You'll see Mohammed V square, central market, the Habbous District, residential area of Anfa and Ain Diab corniche. Head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Day 2 : Casablanca - Marrakech (250 km) Breakfast and departure to Marrakech. Check in at the hotel, where you'll enjoy dinner and an overnight. From 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm, enjoy a tour of Marrakech by night. Day 3 : Marrakech The entire day will be devoted to the visit of Marrakech, the second oldest imperial city, known as the Pearl of the Sound. The city was founded by the Almoravides at the end the 11th century. The historical sightseeing includes the Dar Si Said museum, the Menara and Majorelles gardens, the Koutoubia minaret and the Saadian tombs. In the afternoon, visit of the souks and the famous Djemaa El Fna square. You'll enjoy dinner with a Fantazia show at Chez Ali restaurant followed by accommodations at the hotel. Day 4 : Marrakech - Beni Mellal - Fez (480 km) You'll depart to Fez via the mountains and the cedar woods of the middle Atlas, passing by Ifrane, a charming ski resort and Azrou, an important handicraft center. Check in at the hotel in Fez where you'll enjoy dinner and accommodations. From 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm, you'll tour Fez by night. Day 5 : Fez After breakfast, the whole day will be devoted to the sightseeing of Fez, the most ancient of the Imperial cities founded in the 8th century by Moulay Idris II. Visit the medieval Medina with its Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas (religious Islamic universities), the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, and the Karaouine Mosque. Afternoon, visit of Fes Jdid.. Return to your hotel. Dinner and accommodations at the hotel. Day 6 : Fez - Meknes - Rabat - Casablanca (300 km) Breakfast at the hotel and depart to Meknes, where you'll visit the old Medina, surrounded by a triple thickness of 40 km walls. You'll also see the most beautiful gate of Morocco: the Bab Mansour. In addition, you'll visit the Royal stables of Moulay Ismael, the Medina and the Jewish quarter. Continue on to Rabat the administrative capital of the kingdom. You'll see the Mechouar (ramparts and walls surrounding the Royal Palace), the Oudaya Kasbah, the splendid Mohamed V mausoleum and the Hassan tower. Later you'll arrive back in Casablanca and check in at your hotel. That night, you'll enjoy a farewell dinner at a Moroccan restaurant with a belly dancer show. Overnight at hotel. Day 7: Casablanca/New York Have breakfast then transfer to the Casablanca airport for your return flight. This package
