Du 20 au 22 février 2003 : " Nuits de Stars à Marrakech", tel est le concept du Festival International de la Chanson qui vient d'être crée à Marrakech où se déroulera la première édition qui sera couronnée par une cérémonie de remise de "Colombes d'or".
The 18th Marathon des Sables will take place from April 6 to April 12, 2003 in the vicinity of Ouarzazate, Morocco.
An expedition classic - the Marathon des Sables ("Marathon of the Sands") - is known as the Toughest Footrace on Earth. Six-hundred competitors from about 30 countries on six continents take part in this annual event now in its 18th year. Men and women will traverse nearly 150 miles across the Sahara Desert of Morocco over seven days while carrying all their food and gear. Only a ration of nine liters of water and an open-sided Berber tent are provided daily to competitors.

Tissa Horse Festival October 2003 by Morocco Today
The picturesque center of Tissa is located a few miles off the main road No. 302 in the Fez Province, and is the site of a gigantic competition between the various horse breeds. It is held every year in October. Hundreds of riders assemble wearing their finery to present their mounts. Prize-giving and festivities create a very animated scene.
Festival of Fantasia
Another horse festival, known as the “Festival of Fantasia” which has been held every year (usually at the beginning of September) since 1977 is held in Meknes. It offers thousands of horsemen and their mounts the chance to meet and display their skill and the occasion has earned itself a well-deserved success.
